Our team has worked with numerous international, national and local sporting teams and clubs. We have also lectured for James Cook University and the Australian College Of Massage. As of January 1st 2011, My Masseur became one of the first Medibank Private Members Choice Providers» in Queensland. We are the only practise to date in Townsville.

 

We work with all types of clients and their individual needs. We help and take care of people with Cerebral Palsy, Huntington's Disease, Fibromyalgia, Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP and other neurological conditions.

We converse with and are known to many Specialists Doctors and help people undergoing treatment for cancer or post operative pain management.

Orthopedic surgeons refer work to My Masseur for; returning soldiers postoperatively after IED attacks, for federal work cover schemes post surgery and for post joint replacement surgery. Our Massage Therapists help treat clients in the Mater Private Hospital by prior arrangement. We have watched and been instructed in many orthopedic operations to increase our knowledge of up to date techniques.

Under instuction from Cardiologists we help improve circulation for clients under going treatment for DVT. For many conditions My Masseur can become part of your profesional health care team.

Pregnancy is a special time, and leading Obstetricians prefer My Masseur for professional care tailored to suit your needs. We have specially designed pregnancy tables that allow the clients to lay face down no matter what trimester they are in. 

My Masseur promotes and provides the finest quality carrier oils such as pure Golden Jojoba Oil, (pronounced ho-ho-ba), it is truly a gift of nature for all ages and skin types. Once it becomes a part of your life you will wonder how you ever lived without it.

IMG_1685.1Nathan has Lectured at the Institute of Sport and Exercise Science, James Cook University. He was also a senior Lecturer for the Australian College Of Massage. 

Nathan has worked with many international, national, local sporting teams and individuals.

Nathan specialises in Myofascial Dry Needling, Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Post Surgical Rehabilitation Massage, Kinesio Taping, Sports Strapping and most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.

 

Elissa-Rae Chatfield

Elissa is a High Distinction student from the Australian College Of Massage.

Elissa has worked with Nathan for the PNG RL for the World Cup, Sydney Roosters & the Perth Glory to name a few.

Elissa also specialises in Myofascial Dry Needling, Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Post Surgical Rehabilitation Massage, Some Sports Strapping and most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.

Kate Gibson

Kate is another High Distinction student of Nathan's, from the Australian College Of Massage.
Kate has worked with My Masseur during many events such as the TP Human Capital Triathalon.
Kate also specialises in Remedial Massage, Myofascial Dry Needling, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Relaxation Massage, and most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.

Tony Caruana

Tony Studied a Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College Of Massge. Tony has worked for many events including the Great Australian Bike Ride 2009.
Tony can help with Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Relaxation Massage, ENAR, Cupping and most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.

 

Emi Sekino

Emi has a Diploma of Health Science (Massage Therapy) from the N.S.W. TAFE which is the equivalent of a Advanced Diploma! Emi joins us with 10 years of massage experience.
Emi's treatments consist of Remedial Massage but can incorporate her Japanese traditions of Shiatsu. Emi hails from Kawasaki Japan and embodies the politeness of her culture.
Emi specialises in, Remedial Massage, Relaxation Massage, intertwined with her native form of massage, Shiatsu. Emi can help with most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.

 

Kim Stokes

Kim is another High Distinction student from the Australian College Of Massage.

Kim has a Diploma of Remedial Massage and can also assist with Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Post Surgical Rehabilitation Massage and most medically diagnosed conditions under consultation from your doctor.
